Club Citroën of South Australia Inc. has approximately 60 members and was incorporated in South Australia’s capital city, Adelaide, on Thursday 25 July 1985.

Club Citroën of South Australia Inc. DSLineUpsmallmaintains its presence as the prime active club in South Australia exclusively dedicated to the preservation and restoration of motor vehicles of the Citroën marque.

Club members share an interest in Citroën vehicles, holding monthly meetings at “The Lounge” within the City of Burnside Civic Centre, 401 Greenhill Road at 8.00 pm, on the second Wednesday of every month (except January), . The Club publishes a monthly electronic newsletter.

At Club meetings, members and guest speakers present illustrated talks on all aspects of Citroën motoring and history, and other topics of interest to Club members.  Evenings conclude with a light supper.

Events held by the Club include an annual BBQ in February to celebrate the birthday of André Citroën (b. 5 February 1898 – d. 3 July 1935) who founded the Citroën marque, a Bastille Day Dinner, a Christmas party, Club runs and technical afternoons. On a state rotational basis the Club hosts ‘Cit-In’,LAutoCoversmall the annual Australian National Easter Citroën Rally.

The Club associates with local motoring Clubs such as Club Automobile Francais South Australia Inc. and the Sporting Car Club of South Australia Inc. and participates in annual motoring events run by other organisations, such as Vintage and Classic Day, All French Car Day and The Bay to Birdwood.

Club Citroën of South Australia Inc. is a member of the Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs SA Inc., the peak organisation which administers the distribution of registered Log Books to recognised clubs under the Conditional Registration Scheme for Historic Vehicles, Prescribed Left Hand Drive Vehicles and Street Rod Vehicles. The Club is a recognised motoring club, and has an Authorised Person responsible for issuing Log Books under the Conditional Registration Scheme, enabling vehicles manufactured prior to 1 January 1979 to be registered for a reduced fee. This service is utilised by the majority of the Club’s members, and is one the Club is happy to offer, in addition to technical support offered by knowledgeable members.
