Cit-In Update

16/10/2014
Cit – In 2015

To all Australian Citroen and affiliated Clubs and your members
 Dear Citroen Enthusiasts,
For those of you who are on, or have been on the 80th Anniversary Tour celebration for the Traction, I hope your travels are going to plan or went to plan.
The South Australian Cit-In 15 Committee, under the wonderful direction of Rolf Breyer is continuing to bring together what will be the Australian Citroen Event of the Year

Sponsors for 2015 are on board, venues booked, activities planned and the long term weather reports for the Barossa are excellent for Easter next year.
Club Citroen SA’s membership is as strong as ever and participation in events continues to grow, so much so, I urge all those looking to attend Cit-In 15 to make your bookings early, before our local contingent grab all the best rooms and or other accommodations options.

Accommodation bookings are filling as are the early bird Registrations for Cit-In 15.
http://cit-in.org/  is your link to the Web site for information, bookings and Registration.

Don’t be disappointed in missing the Australian Citroen Event of the Year because you were too late making your bookings….we look forward to seeing you here.

Jottings from the President

We all say it but the proof really is in the pudding … it’s October already, so where has the year gone?
The Club has enjoyed a fabulous start to the New Year, the new committee is bringing their skills to the table and developing a program full of good times and driving.
Already members have been out to lunch at Angas Plains Winery Langhorne Ck, visited Frank Scott’s shed (and over-indulged in the wonderful afternoon tea), completed the Bay to Birdwood, and as well a number of our Club members are taking part in the 80th Anniversary   of the Traction Tour, through Victoria and NSW.

Geoff and Chris Chennells travelled to Darwin with a group of very veteran cars and motor bikes, and we wait with great anticipation for their photo show.

October and the All French Car day on the 19th is looming, Pizza day at Paul and Judy Cox’s is on the 16th November and for something different on the 28th Nov we have secured a car display and transportation of the Mayor of Unley to Alliance Francaise d’Adelaide’s Christmas Fair at Unley http://www.af.org.au/culture/french-christmas-market-2014/
The link above will take you to all the fun of the fair, music, food, art and our Citroens!

Given the rate this year has passed, it’s time to start booking for Cit-In 2015: your club is hosting the Citroen Event of The Year for 2015, so take advantage of the early bird registration and secure your accommodation before the interstaters grab the best rooms.
NB … Registration includes entry to all events Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening dinners, Saturday and Sunday lunches and Monday farewell breakfast.
http://www.cit-in.org will take you to the site for all the relevant information.
A big early “thank you” to the Cit-In Committee for the great work they have already done to ensure Cit-In 2015 will be a huge success.

Thank you all for your support and participation in the events and meetings so far this year, good luck and safe motoring to those heading off on the Traction tour and also to all other Club members and your families.

Safe motoring to you all,
Greg Moorhouse
